This Privacy Policy explains how Speedway Labs, LLC (“Speedway Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and deletes information in connection with the DRAFTYCAR mobile game, draftycar.com, speedwaylabs.com, and related features and services collectively referred to as the “Services.”
DRAFTYCAR is independently developed and operated by a solo developer through Speedway Labs.
Questions about this Privacy Policy or DRAFTYCAR’s data practices may be sent to:
DRAFTYCAR may collect and process information needed to:
Save career progress and gameplay statistics;
Calculate driver ratings;
Operate global leaderboards;
Create season standings and digital awards;
Display non-personalized advertising;
Verify premium purchases;
Understand how DRAFTYCAR is being used;
Diagnose technical problems;
Prevent cheating and fraudulent activity; and
Send marketing communications when a player voluntarily subscribes.
DRAFTYCAR does not sell personal information.
DRAFTYCAR does not request personalized advertising for any player. All advertising requests use a maximum Google AdMob content rating of “G,” regardless of the player’s age.
Eligible players may delete their DRAFTYCAR player record and associated active data from inside the Settings menu.
Players classified as under 13 cannot create a public screen name, participate in global leaderboards, submit an email address, or have gameplay statistics and ratings stored by Speedway Labs in Supabase.
Before using DRAFTYCAR, each player must select their birth year.
The birth year is used to determine which privacy protections and online features are available to the player. It is not displayed publicly and is not included in leaderboard results, ratings, screen names, marketing communications, or advertising requests.
Players should select their actual birth year.
Because DRAFTYCAR requests only a birth year and not a complete date of birth, it may not always be possible to determine a player’s exact age. DRAFTYCAR intentionally applies the more protective age category when a player is near an age cutoff.
This means that some players who are already 13 or or older may temporarily be classified as younger players and may not have access to public screen names, ratings, leaderboards, or email marketing enrollment.
The birth-year selection is processed to assign an age category. For players classified as under 13, the selected birth year and associated player information are not sent to or stored in Speedway Labs’ Supabase player database.
We may store the selected age category locally on the device so DRAFTYCAR can continue applying the appropriate protections.
The information collected depends on the player’s age category and the features used.
For players eligible to use online and competitive features, DRAFTYCAR may collect:
A randomly generated player identifier;
A selected screen name;
Gameplay events;
Race results;
Career-mode progress;
Driver ratings;
Leaderboard rankings;
Season standings;
Digital awards;
Premium-purchase status;
Game version and platform information;
Technical and diagnostic information; and
An email address when voluntarily submitted for marketing.
DRAFTYCAR player records are not intended to function as real-world social-media profiles.
DRAFTYCAR does not ask players to create profiles containing:
A real name;
A street address;
A telephone number;
A photograph;
A biography;
A social-media account;
Precise location information; or
Other real-world profile information.
Players should not include personal information in their screen names.
When an eligible player begins using online DRAFTYCAR features, DRAFTYCAR generates a random, unique player identifier.
This identifier allows DRAFTYCAR to recognize the player’s progress, statistics, ratings, purchases, and other information across gameplay sessions.
The identifier:
Is randomly generated;
Is not based on the player’s real name;
Is not intended to reveal the player’s identity;
Is not derived from the player’s device hardware; and
Is used to connect eligible DRAFTYCAR records belonging to the same player installation.
A new identifier may be created if the player deletes their data, clears application data, reinstalls DRAFTYCAR, or moves to another device without an available transfer or restoration method.
Eligible players may create a screen name to identify themselves in DRAFTYCAR’s competitive features.
A screen name may be associated with:
Race results;
Driver ratings;
Global rankings;
Season standings;
Championships;
Digital awards;
Archived season results; and
Other DRAFTYCAR accomplishments.
Screen names are publicly visible. They may appear inside DRAFTYCAR, on draftycar.com, on speedwaylabs.com, and in official DRAFTYCAR season recaps or promotional materials.
Screen names are intended to be fun competitive identifiers. They are not intended to contain personal information.
Players are instructed not to use their real names. Players must not include email addresses, telephone numbers, street addresses, social-media handles, or other contact information in a screen name.
Speedway Labs may remove, hide, or replace a screen name that contains inappropriate content or information that could create a privacy, safety, moderation, or legal concern.
For eligible players, DRAFTYCAR may send gameplay and career information to Speedway Labs’ backend hosted through Supabase.
This information may include:
Application or gameplay-session starts;
Races started;
Races completed;
Races ended early;
Did-not-finish results;
Mid-race exits or disconnects;
Finishing positions;
Top-five and top-ten finishes;
Wins;
Championships;
Game series;
Career progression;
Shop progression;
Cars and other career assets;
Employees and teammates;
Research and development progress;
Rivalry information;
Driver ratings;
Rating changes;
Activity status;
Season participation;
Game version;
Device platform; and
Other gameplay statistics needed to operate or improve DRAFTYCAR.
DRAFTYCAR may automatically assign a finishing position to a player who quits, disconnects, closes the application, or otherwise leaves a rated race before completion.
DRAFTYCAR uses eligible gameplay information to calculate driver ratings, global rankings, season standings, championships, and digital awards.
These calculations may be automated and may use:
Recent race results;
Rolling race windows;
Finishing positions;
Activity requirements;
Series-specific rules;
Season-specific rules; and
Other competitive criteria.
Each DRAFTYCAR racing series may have its own rating and leaderboard.
Public leaderboards may be cached and updated at scheduled intervals. A player’s post-race rating may therefore update before their public global rank changes.
By creating a screen name and participating in rated races, an eligible player understands that certain competitive information will be public.
Public competitive information may include:
Screen name;
Driver rating;
Global rank;
Race results;
Season placement;
Championship results;
Digital awards; and
Other DRAFTYCAR accomplishments.
This information may be displayed through:
DRAFTYCAR;
draftycar.com;
speedwaylabs.com;
Official DRAFTYCAR season recaps;
In-game newspaper features;
Official DRAFTYCAR promotional graphics; and
Official Speedway Labs social-media accounts.
Speedway Labs does not publicly display a player’s:
Birth year;
Email address;
Real name, unless independently and voluntarily provided for a separate purpose;
Player identifier; or
Other nonpublic account information.
Other players may independently take screenshots or recordings of public leaderboard information. Speedway Labs cannot control or delete copies independently created by other players or third parties.
Rankings, standings, championships, and digital awards displayed on draftycar.com are generated automatically from accepted gameplay events.
Final archived standings are not manually edited or recalculated at a player’s request.
If a player deletes their DRAFTYCAR data:
The player’s screen name may be removed from archived standings;
The screen name may be replaced with a generic label such as “Deleted Player”;
Player-linked information may be anonymized;
The final order of the standings will remain unchanged;
Other players will not be moved into a different finishing position;
Championships will not be reassigned; and
Digital awards will not be reassigned to another player.
Speedway Labs may remove or anonymize personal information where required by law without changing the underlying competitive outcome.
Eligible players may voluntarily submit an email address to receive marketing communications from Speedway Labs.
Marketing communications may include:
DRAFTYCAR news;
Game updates;
New-product announcements;
Promotions;
Surveys;
Events;
Speedway Labs news; and
Other related communications.
Submitting an email address is optional. It is not required to play ordinary DRAFTYCAR gameplay, purchase premium access, receive a driver rating, or appear on a leaderboard.
Players classified as under 13 cannot submit an email address through DRAFTYCAR.
A submitted email address:
Is not displayed publicly;
Is not included on leaderboards;
Is not part of a screen name;
Is not used to request personalized advertising; and
Is used for marketing only after the player voluntarily opts in.
Players may stop receiving marketing communications by:
Selecting the unsubscribe link in a marketing email;
Deleting their DRAFTYCAR data;
Using an available marketing-preference control; or
Contacting bryan@speedwaylabs.com.
Speedway Labs or its email-delivery provider may retain a limited suppression record after an unsubscribe request. This record is used only to prevent the email address from being accidentally added to future marketing communications.
DRAFTYCAR may offer premium access and may add additional products or purchases in the future.
Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store or by Google through Google Play.
Speedway Labs does not directly receive or store a player’s full payment-card information, Apple account password, Google account password, or other app-store login credentials.
Speedway Labs may receive or store limited purchase information needed to provide or restore purchased content, such as:
The platform used for the purchase;
The product purchased;
Purchase or entitlement status;
A transaction or receipt reference;
Whether a purchase was refunded, canceled, or revoked; and
Aggregate purchase totals.
Apple and Google independently process payment, account, transaction, tax, refund, and fraud-prevention information under their own privacy policies.
Deleting DRAFTYCAR data does not delete information independently maintained by Apple or Google.
DRAFTYCAR uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
DRAFTYCAR does not request personalized advertising for any player, regardless of age.
Every advertisement request made by DRAFTYCAR uses a maximum Google AdMob content rating of “G,” regardless of the player’s age category.
For players classified as children, DRAFTYCAR also applies the applicable child age-treatment setting before requesting an advertisement.
Google AdMob may automatically process information needed to deliver, measure, secure, and limit advertising. Depending on the device, region, consent choices, and age treatment, this may include:
IP address;
General or coarse location derived from an IP address;
Application interactions;
Advertisement views;
Advertisement taps;
Video-ad interactions;
Device and application information;
Diagnostic information;
Crash information;
Performance information;
Cookies or similar technologies;
Mobile advertising identifiers;
App-set identifiers; and
Information used for frequency capping, aggregate reporting, security, and fraud prevention.
Non-personalized advertisements are not selected using a player’s past activity for interest-based advertising. Google may still process limited identifiers or similar technologies for purposes such as frequency capping, aggregated reporting, security, and fraud prevention, subject to the player’s age treatment and applicable law.
For players classified as children, Google applies additional restrictions associated with the child age-treatment setting.
The maximum “G” content rating is applied to all DRAFTYCAR advertising requests. This setting asks Google to limit advertisements to content categorized by Google as suitable for general audiences.
The “G” rating does not mean that Speedway Labs personally creates, selects, controls, endorses, reviews, or guarantees every advertisement displayed by Google AdMob.
Selecting an advertisement may open an external website, app-store page, or application controlled by a third party. The third party’s own privacy policy and terms apply.
Google’s processing of advertising information is governed by Google’s own policies.
DRAFTYCAR may be played by users of all ages. DRAFTYCAR uses the required birth-year selection to apply more protective treatment to younger players.
Players classified as under 13:
Cannot create or submit a public screen name;
Cannot appear on global leaderboards;
Cannot upload ratings or competitive race results;
Cannot have gameplay or career statistics stored in Supabase by Speedway Labs;
Cannot submit an email address;
Cannot enroll in marketing communications; and
Cannot use features that require a Speedway Labs online player record.
Gameplay progress for a younger player may be stored locally on the player’s device.
Speedway Labs does not knowingly create or maintain a Supabase player record containing a screen name, player identifier, gameplay statistics, career statistics, ratings, race history, email address, or similar player information for a player classified as under 13.
Advertising shown to a younger player is requested as non-personalized advertising with child age treatment and a maximum content rating of “G.”
Third parties such as Google, Apple, Google Play, an operating-system provider, an app store, or an internet provider may independently process limited technical information needed to deliver the application, advertisements, platform services, or network connections.
If Speedway Labs learns that information from a child under 13 was submitted to or stored by Speedway Labs contrary to these restrictions, Speedway Labs will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Parents or guardians who believe that information from a child under 13 may have been collected should contact:
Apple and Google may independently collect and process information related to DRAFTYCAR, including:
Application downloads;

General usage statistics; and
Fraud or security information.
Speedway Labs may receive some of this information through App Store Connect, Google Play Console, purchase-validation systems, or related platform tools.
Information independently controlled by Apple or Google is governed by the applicable company’s privacy policy.
Speedway Labs may use eligible player information to:
Operate DRAFTYCAR;
Save and display career progress;
Recognize a player across sessions;
Process race results;
Calculate ratings;

Prevent cheating, fraud, and abuse;
Protect DRAFTYCAR and its users;
Respond to support inquiries;
Comply with legal obligations; and
Send marketing communications when the player has opted in.
Where practical, Speedway Labs analyzes gameplay using the random player identifier rather than a player’s screen name or email address.
DRAFTYCAR automatically processes gameplay information to calculate ratings, global rankings, activity status, season standings, championships, and digital awards.
These automated calculations affect only DRAFTYCAR gameplay and competitive recognition. They do not produce legal, financial, employment, credit, housing, insurance, or similarly significant real-world decisions.
Final archived competitive results are not manually changed or appealed, except that personal information may be removed, corrected, or anonymized when required by applicable law.
Speedway Labs does not sell personal information.
Speedway Labs does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Information may be shared with service providers that help operate DRAFTYCAR, including:

Google Play for app distribution, purchases, diagnostics, and platform services;
Hosting providers for draftycar.com and speedwaylabs.com;
Email-delivery providers when a player subscribes to marketing;
Technical providers used for application operation or security; and

These providers may process information only for the services they provide, subject to their own contractual and legal obligations.

To investigate fraud, cheating, abuse, or security threats;
To protect the rights, safety, or property of Speedway Labs or another person;
To enforce the DRAFTYCAR Terms of Use;
In connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or sale of assets; or
With the player’s consent.
Public screen names and competitive information are shared publicly as described in this Privacy Policy.
Eligible player records and gameplay information are stored using Supabase, a third-party cloud database provider.
Supabase processes information on behalf of Speedway Labs and provides database, backend, and related infrastructure services.
Information may be processed or stored in a country different from the player’s country of residence. Privacy laws in that country may differ from the laws where the player lives.
Website, email, advertising, platform, and diagnostic information may be stored by the relevant service provider in locations determined by that provider.
Speedway Labs uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect DRAFTYCAR information.
These measures may include:
Encryption while information is transmitted;
Access controls;
Database permissions;
Restricted administrative access;
Random player identifiers;
Validation of gameplay submissions;
Separation of public and nonpublic information; and
Service-provider security controls.
No online service, database, application, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Speedway Labs cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, data loss, or another security incident will never occur.
Players should not place personal information in their screen names.
Speedway Labs retains information for as long as reasonably needed to provide DRAFTYCAR, maintain competitive records, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and enforce the Terms of Use.
Unless deleted earlier:
Active player records may be retained while the player continues using DRAFTYCAR;
Gameplay events may be retained to operate career, rating, leaderboard, security, and analytics features;
Public season standings may be retained as historical DRAFTYCAR records;
Digital awards may be retained while connected to an active player record;
Marketing email addresses may be retained until the player unsubscribes or deletes their data;
Purchase-status information may be retained while needed to provide premium access; and
Legal, security, fraud-prevention, and financial records may be retained for the period required or permitted by law.
Aggregated or anonymized information that can no longer reasonably identify a player may be retained and used indefinitely.
Eligible players may permanently delete their DRAFTYCAR player record and associated active data from inside the DRAFTYCAR Settings menu.
An internet connection may be required to delete information stored in Supabase.
The in-app deletion process is intended to delete the data controlled by Speedway Labs that is connected to the player record, including, where applicable:
Player identifier;
Screen name;
Supabase gameplay events;
Online career statistics;
Ratings;
Current leaderboard information;
Player-linked season information;
Digital awards;
Marketing email address; and
Other active online information associated with the player.
The deletion process may also remove locally stored DRAFTYCAR progress and settings from the device.
Deletion is permanent. Deleted DRAFTYCAR progress cannot normally be restored by Speedway Labs.
Deleting DRAFTYCAR data may permanently remove:
Career progress;
Cars;
Shop progress;
Employees;
Teammates;
Research and development progress;
Rivalry information;
Race history;
Screen name;
Ratings;
Rankings;
Digital awards;
Season history; and
Other saved information.
A player’s name may be removed from archived competitive results or replaced with a generic label such as “Deleted Player.” Final standings, placements, championships, and awards will not be recalculated or reassigned.
Cached leaderboard pages and website files may take a limited period to refresh after deletion.
Restricted backup copies may temporarily retain deleted information until the backups expire or are overwritten. Backup information is not used for ordinary gameplay, marketing, ratings, or public leaderboard display.
If a backup containing deleted information is restored, Speedway Labs will take reasonable steps to reapply completed deletion requests.
Speedway Labs may retain limited information when required for:
Legal compliance;
Financial recordkeeping;
Security;
Fraud prevention;

Deleting DRAFTYCAR data does not delete information independently maintained by:
Apple;
Google;
Google AdMob;
An email-delivery provider;
A payment processor;
A device manufacturer;
An internet provider; or
Another third party.
Deleting DRAFTYCAR data also does not remove screenshots, videos, posts, or other copies independently created by other players or third parties.
Opening DRAFTYCAR after deletion may create a new player record. The new record will not inherit the deleted player’s progress, statistics, ratings, rankings, season history, or digital awards.
Players may also contact bryan@speedwaylabs.com with a deletion question or to report a problem with the in-app deletion process.
Players may be able to update certain information, such as a screen name, through DRAFTYCAR when that feature is available.
Players may contact bryan@speedwaylabs.com to ask about inaccurate personal information.
Speedway Labs does not manually change automated race results, ratings, final rankings, championships, or archived competitive placements at a player’s request.
Where required by law, Speedway Labs may correct, delete, or anonymize personal information without recalculating the underlying competitive standings.
Depending on where a player lives, the player may have rights concerning personal information, including the right to:
Request access to personal information;
Request correction of inaccurate information;
Request deletion;
Withdraw marketing consent;
Object to or restrict certain processing;
Request a portable copy of certain information; and
Not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right.
These rights may be subject to legal limitations and verification requirements.
To submit a privacy request, contact:
A request should include enough information to identify the applicable DRAFTYCAR player record, such as the player’s screen name or player identifier. Do not send an app-store password, payment-card number, or other sensitive credential.
Speedway Labs may need to verify that the person making the request is connected to the applicable player record.
Players may also delete their DRAFTYCAR data directly through the Settings menu.
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, Speedway Labs may process information based on:
Performance of a contract: to provide DRAFTYCAR gameplay, premium features, ratings, purchases, and requested services;
Legitimate interests: to operate and improve DRAFTYCAR, balance gameplay, prevent cheating, secure the Services, diagnose problems, and understand general usage;
Consent: to send optional marketing communications and for other processing where consent is legally required;
Legal obligations: to comply with applicable laws, valid legal requests, tax requirements, and financial-recordkeeping duties; and
Protection of rights and safety: to investigate fraud, security incidents, abuse, or violations of the Terms of Use.
Players may withdraw marketing consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.
DRAFTYCAR and its service providers may process information outside the country where a player lives.
When legally required, Speedway Labs or the applicable service provider may use recognized safeguards for international data transfers.
Players may contact bryan@speedwaylabs.com with questions about international processing.
Speedway Labs may add optional features, products, tests, competitions, physical awards, or services in the future.
If a new feature collects or uses information in a materially different way, Speedway Labs may provide an additional notice, request consent where required, or update this Privacy Policy.
Future physical prizes or promotions may require additional information, such as a mailing address, identity verification, age confirmation, or parental permission. Any such information will be addressed in separate official rules or a specific privacy notice before it is collected.
No current digital award requires a player to submit a mailing address or other physical-delivery information.
Speedway Labs may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to:
DRAFTYCAR;
Available features;
Competitive systems;
Products;
Service providers;
Legal requirements; or
Data practices.
